Each painted featherweight comes with its bobbin case, foot controller, three bobbins, and various attachments and documents depending on what came with it, These Featherweights go through a complex process in which the original paint is removed down to the bare cast aluminum. Then a catalyzed primer is applied followed by several layers of paint depending on the type of finish desired. Then the decals are applied followed by a protective clear coat. Between each coat the paint is wet sanded to create a perfectly smooth surface. Then the machine is reassembled and polished to be ready for you.
