ByAnnie Feathered Friends

In this three-part class, you’ll tackle ByAnnie’s Feathered Friends, the perfect companion project for the Stitcher’s Suitcase. Designed to organize, protect, and cushion your sewing setup, these coordinating projects fit neatly around your Featherweight machine inside the suitcase, creating a smart and stylish travel system.
Feathered Friends includes three zippered bags in a variety of sizes, a padded bed sleeve that doubles as a thread catcher, and a vinyl-topped pad to protect your work surface. With zippered openings for easy access and plenty of organized storage, Feathered Friends is perfect for retreats, classes, and sewists who love practical organization with plenty of personality.
Class time is 5:00 pm until 9:00 pm.
You’ll need to purchase your pattern, fabrics and notions ahead of time and have everything quilted, cut out and the pieces labeled prior to class to make the most of class time.

| Instructor: | Cassie Blanchard |
| Instructor Bio: | Cassie turned into a full-blown quiltaholic in 2020. In early 2023 she made her first ByAnnie bag and it was love at first zipper. Since then, she’s been hooked and now speaks fluent “ByAnnie” complete with the pattern stash and borderline-out-of-control fabric situation to prove it. She believes that bringing bags to life one stitch at a time is basically a superpower and that every sewist needs a pretty seam ripper, a label that says, “I made this,” and the emotional resilience to wrestle thick seams in their toolbox. In her class, you can expect ByAnnie pattern translation (if you know, you know), helpful tips, a dash of sass, and lots of encouragement. Whether you’re new to bag making or already dangerously close to needing a storage unit for your creations, Cassie is here to make the process fun, fearless, and just the right kind of addicting. |
