Quilted Coat Class

This class will be composed of three sessions. We will be making some modifications to the pattern method so don't cut until after the first session.

We're using the Tamarack Jacket pattern from Grainline Studio, available in our shop.  The pattern runs large so size down if in doubt.  

First Session - we'll choose our fabric, determine correct size and plan the quilting of the fabrics.

Second Session - We'll cut out our pattern and begin construction with darts and pockets.

Third Session - We'll complete construction and hopefully finsh up.

Purchase your fabric based on the amount listed on the pattern.  Get a little extra if you need to lengthen the sleeves or the jacket or match stripes or patterns.

I used Winline 6 oz bamboo batting in my jacket.  It's soft and drapy, durable and breathable.  It's available in our shop by the yard or in a package.

I used a zipper. Other options are buttons, toggles, snaps, etc.

*All classes are subject to cancellation or rescheduling if the need arises.  If a class has to be cancelled or rescheduled and you are unable to attend the new class your class fee will be refunded to your shop account.

**Cancellations without 2 weeks notice are not refundable.
