Class Description:

This class is offered free in order to fill a need in our local community. As quilters, we have a wonderful opportunity to bless others by providing quilts to provide warmth and comfort. Quilts will be donated to a local organization which provides safe shelter, and additional resources to people who have been rescued from human trafficking in Idaho.

This free class will be offered on the second Tuesday of each month. Carolyn Hutchinson of Carolyn’s In Stitches will be providing the pattern and instruction. JK Quilts has graciously offered their classroom. Each class will offer a new skill, technique or pattern adjusted for a throw or twin size quilt to be donated. June’s class will use Carolyn’s “Pinwheel Paddle” pattern.

Throw 58” x 70”:

            Dark Fabric                           1 1/4 Yards

            Light Fabric                           1 1/4 Yards

            Accent (Medium) Fabric       1 1/4 Yards

            Border 2                                     3/4 Yard

Twin 60” x 84”:

            Dark Fabric                           1 1/4 Yards

            Light Fabric                           1 1/4 Yards

            Accent (Medium) Fabric       1 1/4 Yards

Sewing machine in good working order plus favorite notions including:

Rotary Cutter with new/sharp blade

Thread and bobbins– Recommend Aurifil
