Class Description:

This class is offered free in order to fill a need in our local community. As quilters, we have a wonderful opportunity to bless others by providing quilts to provide warmth and comfort. Quilts will be donated to a local organization which provides safe shelter, and additional resources to people who have been rescued from human trafficking in Idaho.

September’s class will use Carolyn’s “Reflections” pattern. This pattern is part of the “Magic Series”.

Supplies Required

Fabric Requirements:

Throw 58” x 70”

Dark 1 Fabric1 yard

Dark 2 Fabric½ yard

Sewing machine in good working order plus favorite notions including:

Rotary Cutter with new/sharp blade, thread & bobbins

Wonder Clips

Optional but helpful supplies:

12” Ruler and a 6 ½” Square Ruler

Your Favorite Pressing Spray

Small Iron & mat

Pre-Class Prep:

From the Dark 1 fabric – cut strips 5” by WOF (7 for Throw) (8 for Twin)

From the Dark 2 fabric – cut strips 2 ½” by WOF (7 for Throw) (8 for Twin)

From the Light 1 fabric – cut strips 5” by WOF (7 for Throw) (8 for Twin)

From the Light 2 fabric – cut strips 2 ½” by WOF (7 for Throw) (8 for Twin)

Join the Dark 1 strips to the Light 2 strips as shown - making (7 strip sets for Throw) (8 strip sets for Twin)

Join the Light 1 strips to the Dark 2 strips as shown - making (7 strip sets for Throw) (8 strip sets for Twin)
