Beginning Collage Class

This is a one day collage class that teaches the technique used by Emily Taylor. We will be doing a Hummingbird or a Chinoiserie (your choice). This technique uses a combination of value and color that will delight you as it comes alive!

Supplies

- Pattern available at JK Quilts

• Lite Steam a Seam 2 - 3 yds of 12” wide is a good start

• Iron (mini iron is preferred)

• Fabric scissors - I prefer Karen K Buckley blue handled scissors

• Roll of parchment paper - I prefer Reynolds. The name brand makes a difference.

• Fabric for background

• Variety of fabric scraps for bird, branches and leaves (for the Cardinal) and a variety of scraps for the Hummingbird and whole flowers to go with the Hummingbird. Scraps of fabric will do but if you buy fabric, you will not need more than an eighth of a yard of each design.

*All classes are subject to cancellation or rescheduling if the need arises. If a class has to be cancelled or rescheduled and you are unable to attend the new class your class fee will be refunded to your shop account.

**Cancellations without 2 weeks notice are not refundable
